Mom and Dad

Benny is no longer in the super adorable phase where he refers to us as “Mommy & Daddy.” We had a brief time when he was calling me “Mama,” which I did not love. But let me tell you something, I liked that a lot more than when he switched to straight up, “Mom and Dad.” I know they’re growing up (and he’d probably get made fun of in high school if he still called me Mommy), but I can’t believe how grown he suddenly seems. (I’m not crying. You’re crying.) Kora Mai’s four “words” she says so far are Mama, Dada, Woof when she sees the dogs, and Mmmmm when she wants to eat. That’s my girl. I love watching them grow, but will definitely be cherishing the Mommy phase this second time around since I had no idea how quickly it would be gone!
